Hannah Holmes is a native of Abilene, TX, where she graduated from Abilene High School in 1996 and attained her B.A. in Psychology from McMurry University in 1999. She subsequently earned her M.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Psychology, Public Administration, and Allied Health Science from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2003.
A gifted communicator with a natural propensity toward leadership, Hannah is regarded by peers as a positive, creative, and enthusiastic force who capitalizes on her value for authenticity to connect with others. With 15 years of social service experience in both government and non-profit sectors, Hannah has gained extensive practice in designing and implementing training programs, mentoring youth, speaking to audiences spanning a wide array of demographic, building collaborative partnerships, simplifying complicated processes to enhance productivity and strengthen organizational systems, and equipping clients with skills to advocate for their needs.
A self-proclaimed “Recovering Type-A,” with a penchant for personal development, Hannah uses her blog and Pursuing Perfexcellence Podcast (available on multiple listening platforms), as an outlet to process & chronicle her own growth journey, with hopes of concurrently helping others along their path.
She aims to help steer her listeners away from the paralyzing pursuit of perfection and toward the empowering expectation for personal excellence. Her deepest desire on this side of heaven is to glorify God while helping the one in front of her step into his/her destiny by embracing one’s own unique and intricate design – AKA identity – and walking confidently, courageously, and unashamedly in it.
She loves all things creative – especially painting, music, theatre, and graphic design – reading, Tik-Toking with her girl-child, Pokemon Going with her boy-child, and becoming a better version of herself through the peaks and valleys of The Wife & Motherhood.
